Looking more like a country mansion than a typical inn, The Beckford, Gloucestershire is a superb Cotswold stone building with its origins in the 18th century. It offers all the facilities of a public house and restaurant, as well as comfortable hotel accommodation. It also makes a splendid venue for parties, weddings or conferences. Civil marriage ceremonies are available so that you can begin your marriage partnership together here at The Beckford.
Three or four real ales, including a local brew, are on tap in the bar, along with a full range of other beers, lagers and cider. These can be enjoyed on their own or to accompany a meal in the well-appointed 85 cover restaurant (non-smoking).
 There is also the snug where you can enjoy drinking some of your favourite beer, wine or shorts.  

The printed menu and the specials board offer a fine choice; among the latter could be Red snapper with stir fried vegetables and a hoi sin sauce, Beef, Guinness and mushroom pie, Pork fillet with apple and Calvados sauce and the impressive Steakman's Grill. Food is served every lunchtime and evening. Picnic tables are set out on the spacious lawned gardens at the front and side of the inn. Children are welcome, and for guests staying overnight the eight first-floor twin or double bedrooms all have en suite shower, tv, radio-alarm and tea & coffee making facilities.

We are open between 11:00 am and 11:00 pm every day except Sunday when we open from midday - 10:30 pm. You are welcome to pop in for morning coffee and afternoon tea.

Food is served in the Restaurant or bar between 12:00 and 2:30 pm and between 6:30 and 9:30 pm.
